Reda Salem

Kuwait

A self taught photographer who started photography as a hobby at an early age and turned to a full time professional after graduation from University. He worked in almost every field of photography; commercial, portraiture, travel, fine art and sports.  He traveled the four corners of the world covering the major sporting events from Olympics to winter games, Asian, regional and international events. His sports images appeared in a number of books, publications and exhibitions.  Portrait and art photography remain closest to his heart. Over the years he has done hundreds of portraits of local and Arab artists, singers, poets and writers. His work and picture stories appeared in a number of books and magazines.
Black & White has always been his passion but in recent years he rediscovered photography when he turned to digital world. The computer replaced the “darkroom” and a whole new world of colors has emerged.
